Pastor Conrad Dueck

Conrad, Lois, Joseph and Stevie

Conrad has had the privilege of serving at CBC for over 10 years, and he and his family are thankful to be a part of a healthy, growing, and Jesus-loving church.  Conrad is blessed with a gracious and hard-working wife Lois, sons Joseph and Stephen who still live at home, and Lorianne and Caleb who are studying at university. Conrad has a real love for people, and for seeing them connected to God, His word, and those around them.  He enjoys the outdoors, playing basketball, and going on long road trips.

Pastor Trevor Martin

Martin Family

Trevor began serving at Calvary Baptist Church in September 2015. Prior to moving to Emo Trevor and his wife, Nicole, graduated from Briercrest College in Caronport, SK. Trevor enjoys playing a variety of sports and board games. God has gifted Trevor with an excitement to study the Bible and teach in small group settings. Trevor and Nicole have two daughters, Andrea and Karis, who bring both joy and opportunities for further sanctification!

We have them. 2 of them. They're sisters.

Philip Whatley (overseer)

Philip and Karen started attending CBC when they first moved to Emo in 1979. They have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. Philip has been an overseer since 2003, involved in two building renovation projects, and working out our current governance model, constitution, policies and procedures. He enjoys small group teaching, studying creation vs evolution issues, playing bass for Sunday morning worship, arranging hymns for classic guitar, building and using horseback riding and cross-country ski trails, and most recently trying to learn humility through playing golf.

Henry Petkau (overseer)

Henry is a self-employed business owner who has lived in the Emo area almost all of his life. He has been an overseer at CBC for the last 11 years. Henry enjoys doing work projects at his cabin that get his whole family involved.

Phil Friesen (overseer)

Phil is a husband, father and grandfather.  He has spent many years in the meat industry, then freight industry and now drives truck for a transport company. But his real passion is seeing believers grow in their faith.
