Trevor began serving at Calvary Baptist Church in September 2015.
Prior to moving to Emo, Trevor and his wife, Nicole, graduated from Briercrest College in Caronport, SK. Trevor enjoys playing a variety
of sports and board games. God has gifted Trevor with an excitement to study the Bible and teach in small group settings. Trevor and Nicole have four children, Andrea, Karis, Joel, and Cypress, who bring both joy and opportunities for further sanctification!
Philip and Karen started attending CBC when they first moved to Emo in 1979. They have 4 children and 11 grandchildren. Philip has been an overseer since 2003, involved in two building renovation projects, and working out our current governance model, constitution, policies and procedures. He enjoys small group teaching, studying creation vs evolution issues, playing bass for Sunday morning worship, arranging hymns for classic guitar, building and using horseback riding and cross-country ski trails, and most recently trying to learn humility through playing golf.
Carmela and her husband, James, have been attending Calvary Baptist since their move to Emo in 2000. Carmela enjoys reading, playing games with her family, and baking -- especially cookies! She is learning Spanish and has made numerous trips to Latin America where she loves to speak with the locals. James and Carmela have two adult children; Katrina is studying to be a lab technician, and Fletcher is studying to be a paramedic. Some of the Klug family's favourite memories are putting on puppet shows for the church.
